Microscopic Colitis

I was diagnosed recently with a quiet rare illness called Microscopic Colitis which is a bit of a relative of Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis but very little is know about it. It has taken a very long time to get a diagnosis as normal blood, stool tests and colonoscopies have historically been negative until i mentioned to my Dr about Microscopic Coloitis and the need to have another colonoscopy with biopsies which then gave the diagnosis!

For years i have had minor vasculitic rashes come up and disappear but the last 12 months have come up really dramatically!! see pictures.
All my Drs efforts to pinpoint the cause have been futile, all bloods being negative.

I recalled however reading about the hyperbaric chamber quiet near to my home so I thought I would attend a few sessions to see what might happen.

Within 6 sessions a visual reduction in the rash was apparent. I am going to continue with the sessions to see what becomes of my health.

Another common condition that has been troublesome for me has been severe cramp/ spasms in my hands, forearms and calves.
Since starting the oxygen therapy they have much improved and hopefully continue to cease bothering me!

I cant say for certain the oxygen therapy has "cured" my condition but I’m pretty certain its has helped.
If anyone is considering trying the hyperbaric chamber please give it a go you have nothing to lose but potentially a lot to gain.
